San Marino Castles at Sunrise are Breathtaking

If you ever have the chance of visiting the area of Rimini, Marche in Italy, do stop by and visit San Marino.

A panorama is always the best way of showing a landscape in full view

This republic that is the oldest republic of Italy, is completely independent. It has been marked as a Unesco World Heritage site and therefore you can expect nothing more but the best of what our ancestors have left us.

A View of San Marino

The views on the top of the mountain, where 3 separate castles have been build are so amazing. The mountain is protrudes from the landscape with a staggering hight of 749 meters. Especially during autumn sunrises can you catch breathtaking views, with misty valleys around you, that are hundreds of meters lower than where you stand.

Before the Sunrise

San Marino has 3 castles

If you climb the hill of San Marino you will see that on the west side, facing the Adriatic Sea, you will have 3 castles on the mountain tops.

The middle castle is the most photogenic, and can be shot from the 1st Castle.

The 3rd castle is closed and has no entrance. The position is amazing though, overlooking the south of Italy with beautiful mountain ranges all around

Visit San Marino

The country of San Marino offers great photogenic moments for you as a photographer to capture. The best moments are during sunrise and sunset.

The best moments are i believe during autumn/ winter when the leaves color brown and yellow and the surrounding landscape is covered in a misty hue.

Love these Autumn moments in Italy. Colors everywhere!

Another great spot, with the 1ste castle on the background, just when the sun began to rise in San Marino
