Spending a summer in The Netherlands - Posbank & Much More
Hi everyone, this is the latest round up for the last 3 months. (planning on doing this on a monthly base - if you want to get updates please subscribe here)
I’ve had the pleasure to live in a city called Arnhem the past 3 months and I must say - that has been amazing. A very photogenic area, next to one of the most popular photogenic places in The Netherlands - The Veluwe with it’s purple heather fields.
Here are some of my favorite shots from that amazing place:
Castle Doorwerth & Castle Bilioen
Next up is a small but honorable summary of my visits to 2 different castles.
Scheveningen Pier & Ferris wheel
After having spend so much time in the lovely area of Arnhem, I found myself visting the beach of Scheveningen for a change.
This day was marked with cold winds and strange high-air smokes all the way from canada, making the sky look strange but colorful during a sunset at the beach.
I took the reflection of the water as my focus, having the ferris wheel turn for motion in this image, and feathers creating a nice balance between the buildings and the nature that surrounds this place
City of Arnhem
Having lived in this city, I came to love this place. The houses here, the many parks and ofcourse the fact that you live next to the Veluwe, is making Arnhem very popular amongst many people. Ohw and don’t forget the fact that its situated next to the Rijn river, making it the ideal getaway for summer days.
Here are some of my favorite shots from this city and it’s surrounding nature
“Vluchtheuvelkerkje’
Last but not least for August 2023 - the ‘Vluchtheuvelkerkje’ in Homoet. A small place in the flat fields around the Rijn river, this little church has been built on a little hill making it perfect for fun photography and stunning landscape pictures. Here are my best images from visiting this place twice in the stormy summer of 2023.
I hope you enjoy this update and thanks for liking/ sharing / subscribing
