On this morning, we took off before 06:00 AM to find hyena's because the night before we heard them laugh. 

We did found 1 hyena that morning, but my camera equipment was not up for the early morning darkness. A little bit later we were searching the planes for other animals and after a while we found this big group of buffalo's grazing the fields early morning.

Just as the sun was about to rise we stopped the jeep, we took out our camera's and a couple of minutes later the whole sky was on fire! What an amazing site. The layers in the landscape, the buffalo's walking around creating dust, the small bird opening up its wings just as I hit the button and the remarkable colors of the Tanzania nature. What a sight it was!

Another Hippo bites the Dust. Getting bullied by the huge family of hippo's, they start of young with a lot of scratches on their skin. Makes them tough. And they need to be. These animals are super fast on land and make each other run for their lives when they are fighting 1 another.

Driving around in the Udzungwa Mountains National Park, we found on the bright daylight, a big group of Elephants ( 13-15). Our driver saw in their behavior that they would go to drink water at a huge pool.

We decided to go to that Pool and waited for the big herd to come.
And did they! The whole pool was 1 big party of animals ( like a scene from the Lion King), all living peaceful with it each other. 

We found Crocodiles, many different species of birds, Elephants, Zebra's and Giraffes.
